Every authentic piece originating from our workshop in Leh carries the official Geographical Indication hallmark under GI Application No. 719. We provide an artisan certificate of origin signed by Stanzin, verifying the timber species and carving date.

Because our native Malchang Willow and Sham Valley Walnut air-season for 2 to 3 years in the dry mountain air of Leh at 3500m altitude, the cell sap crystallizes completely. Coupled with nail-free Mugher peg joinery that allows subtle seasonal wood breathing, our furniture does not crack or warp in Delhi, Mumbai, or overseas homes.
